ROS DG Denies Power Abuse Claims

The Director‑General of the Royal Malaysian Police has dismissed claims that the force is abusing its power in the MIPP scandal probe. Zulfikar Ibrahim told Malaysiakini the investigation began only after solid, relevant evidence was submitted.
He added the probe follows normal procedures and the police remain committed to transparency. He warned that unfounded accusations could erode public trust in law enforcement.
