Speak Clearly, Listen Deeply
Good communication is the bridge that connects us to others and helps us reach our goals. It begins with listening fully - put away distractions, look at the speaker, and try to feel what they are saying. When you speak, choose simple words, keep your message short, and check that the other person understands. Why does this matter? Because clear talks stop misunderstandings, lower stress, and build trust at home, work, and with friends. You can practise it today by listening without planning your reply, then summarising what you heard in one sentence. Try to ask at least one open-ended question, such as 'What made you feel that way?', to invite deeper sharing. Notice your body language - a nod or a smile shows you are engaged. Small habits like these turn everyday chats into stronger connections.
