Handling Conflict with Calm
Conflicts appear in every part of life - at work, at home, with friends. When we feel attacked, our first instinct is to defend or argue. This often makes the problem bigger. A simple way to break the cycle is to pause for a breath and ask two questions: what is the real issue, and what outcome do I truly want? Seeing the situation as a puzzle rather than a battle lets us choose calm words instead of sharp ones. Write down the answer quickly, then share it calmly. When we focus on the problem, not the person, we keep respect alive and open the door to solutions. Practising this each day builds stronger relationships and reduces stress. Over time you will notice arguments fade and cooperation grow.
