Six‑Family Fatal SUV Crash

A tragic collision in Kuala Muda, Kedah, has left six members of a single family dead. The vehicle involved was a Proton X50 sport‑utility vehicle (SUV). After the accident, the Computerised Vehicle Inspection Centre (PUSPAKOM) examined the SUV, concentrating on critical systems such as the braking mechanism, tyres and steering components. While the inspection confirmed that these parts were checked, it has not provided a definitive answer as to why the vehicle failed to stop or why the crash occurred. Authorities are now probing other factors, including driver error, road conditions and possible mechanical faults that may have escaped detection during the routine check.
