Food vendors scammed by fake IPK syndicate

Two small‑scale food‑and‑catering entrepreneurs in Johor thought they were securing a contract to supply meals and souvenir items for the Contingent Police Headquarters (IPK) J. Instead, a fraudulent syndicate posing as the IPK approached them with fake paperwork and promises.

After paying RM8,800 for the alleged supplies, the pair discovered the deal was a hoax, leaving them out of pocket and wary of future bids. Police are now investigating the ring and warning other vendors.
