Early tests to spot Year 4 gaps

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has announced that Year 4 students will sit a diagnostic test designed to spot learning gaps before they move on to secondary school. The assessment will give teachers clear data on each child's strengths and weaknesses, allowing schools to plan targeted support and remedial programmes early, rather than waiting until later grades. Parents will also receive feedback, helping them to reinforce learning at home.
