State Exec Urges Police Watch LGBTQ+ Glamping Event

Sabah's state executive committee member for tourism and culture has written to the police, asking them to keep an eye on an upcoming glamping weekend that is being promoted as an LGBTQ+ friendly retreat. The glamping event, organised by a local LGBTQ+ advocacy group, aims to provide a safe, nature‑filled space for queer travellers. It is scheduled for early May at a forest resort in Sabah, drawing attention from both supporters and critics of such gatherings.
